Hon wasabi and oka wasabi

Wasabi is farmed in two different ways. The more upmarket hon wasabi grows in lose gravel on the banks of cool mountain streams. Field or oka wasabi grows in soil and is not as highly esteemed as hon wasabi. Oka wasabi is often used to produce wasabi capsules as a dietary supplement.
